One and one

At the moment and finally my number seems to be one, of which I'm totally happy. I was fastest both in Forssa Games on Thursday as well as on the last leg in Venla-relay. Our team made also an average race as we got two number ones for our number bib for next year's relay. Well, the plan is not to triple the numbers next year...

The greatest part is definitely that my running seems to be getting more aggressive, finally. It's also much easier to find the controls as I've got some oxygen left for my brains too. In Forssa Games, (splits) only had apprioximately 30 seconds to improve and in Venla-relay(spilts) it wasn't much more than on minute. After not so enjoyable moments, it's just soooo cool to be back on the right track.

I think Jukola in Tampere was a great event and the terrain gave enough challenges too. I also got some extra spice for the night as I was playing a reporter for the Finnish broadcast company, Urheilukanava, during the night. I didn't sleep at all in the night but was still able to follow the whole exciting relay. It was a nice experience to be on the other side of the camera for a while!

Soon I'll get some more sleep so that I'll be able to make a nice and long low-speed training tomorrow. The next days will be full of some stuff in Helsinki anyway..

I'll spend the midsummer fest in Norway which I wasn't planning to do. But Pasi got so eager to compete in the World cup. Well, the competitions had better be nice as I'm taking my ass there too;)After that, we'll fly almost directly to Czhecs to run some qualification races. But actually for me it is merely the first real WOC-camp. So, our home will be lonely again but I hope it will forgive us! Congratulations for the Jukola and Venla winners once more!
