Le Caylar, no idea where...

Our tour in France has turned towards North. We arrived in le Caylar's O-labyrints on Sunday and spent there 5 days looking for controls hidden in the stone holes. I was totally out too many times and even though it sometimes felt that I knew what I was doing, after a while I was back in the middle of nowhere again.

We trained also with the Czech's national team and it was a great pleasure. The trainings were really demanding and there were always flags and SI-system in the woods. The only error was in my head, which seemed to be completely useless sometimes. There are some examples of this below...well maybe some better ones too.

When we arrived it was really nice and sunny but on Tuesday it started to snow. After the freezing training in the morning (short O-intervalls) I was so turned off ( I went also 180 degrees wrong two times) that I didn't take part in the second o-training in the afternoon. Instead, I stayed inside in front of our fire place. I decided it wasn't wice to learn these kind of O-routines...

Luckyly, the sun came back even though it was still really cold. On Wednesday we ”took it easy” and run and hiked around the Lac Salagou in Lodeve, which took almost three hours. Yesterday, we made two o-trainings in the Mont Merdous and Roc and Roc on our own.

Le Caylar was great but I feel I really have to come back here and prove myself that I Can Do Better Than This. In fact, there is an opportunity already in the beginning of next August as The Aveyron 6 Days will be held in Le Caylar area. This is something that I can recommend to everyone else too.

The organisers also provide every competitor with the nice Noname-shirt which you can see in the picture below. On the way, we recommend that you check the famous viaduct of Millau and taste the delicates of France.

However, we're now going to spend the next two days in Geneve. This time we'll really take it easy as the batteries need to be loaded before we continue to the training camp in Switzerland. So just some nice cakes and coffees in Geneve, please:)
