It's time to laugh and enjoy again as I found the missing ON-button and my legs seem to be almost as strong as in the old good times;)I made an interwall training last Wednesday and it felt so nice to be able to rock and roll after over one month of not so nice feelings.
On Friday, we had the test races for the EOC in a sandy beach terrain in Yyteri. Even though I was a bit scared of my physics before the start, I was so happyly surprised already during the course that I almost felt like jumping around.
Here are the results and the splits from the race
. Okey, you may be able to see that I really was jumping around there a bit. But I couldn't really care too much as I haven't been able to orienteer for so long and and the terrain was, indeed, really challenging and the details were very small.
As my body was finally co-operating I decided to make my first real o-training this year in Finland while the others were running the tuff long distance qualification yesterday. And this is definitely what I'm going to do the next few weeks from now on, to ORIENTEER I mean.
Next week, I'm going to take part in a small sprint competition in Korpilahti and in the weekend I'm going to run the second Huippuliiga-competition (Finnish o-league) as well as the sprint EOC-qualification. Hopefully, I'll be able to jump up and down after those competitions too (only in my mind, though, as my jumpers knee wouldn't really enjoy that too much):D
